Tashi is a freelance media producer currently based in Boise, Idaho. A graduate of Dartmouth College, he spent three years in Los Angeles working in film production before returning to Boise, where he received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Idaho Commission on the Arts to write a screenplay about his experiences growing up in Idaho. He has directed a number of short documentaries with subjects ranging from horse festivals in Tibet to gun clubs in rural New England. His award winning short films have screened at festivals from Boston to Berlin. In addition to video and media production, Tashi has an extensive background in communications and creative development. He has worked with a number of clients as a project coordinator, copywriter and creative consultant.
